Transparent Pricing
We specialize in offering chemical propulsion systems for Earth orbiting satellites, deep-space exploration spacecraft, and other aerospace applications.
We offer a transparent pricing structure for off-the-shelf (COTS) propulsion units with fixed prices per unit regardless of application. There is no guesswork on the part of the customer when making cost vs. benefit tradeoffs or when working out development budgets.
Aphelion’s COTS products include thrusters providing 0.1N, 1N, 200N, 1,000N and 10,000 thrust levels with a specific impulse that is competitive with or better than other products on the market.
In addition to Aphelion’s COTS propulsion system units, our expertise enables us to provide customized solutions to customers. This can range from minor modifications to existing products to the design, development, and testing of completely new systems. Obviously, depending on the type of solution desired, costs and timelines will vary. However, this is advantageous for customers who operate satellites but do not have nor want to set up an in-house propulsion development and production operation.
What are the advantages? We can customize to any thrust level desired and optimize to exactly what the customer’s satellite needs. We are also able to modify the specific impulse and minimum impulse bit to match specific mission requirements. On the manufacturing side, our custom solutions mean that we can produce a propulsion unit to the specific satellite “envelope”, meaning the volume and dimension requirements as well as mass, electrical interfaces, etc.
